The Superintendent of the Year is awarded each year to a Superintendent who has shown outstanding leadership and support of athletics on the local level and also in the state. The Superintendent must be nominated by a Principal or Athletic Director.
Dr. Goodwin was nominated because of the commitment he has shown to athletics. He and his administration have helped with field and facility improvements, district athletic policies, activity bus replacement plan, travel costs for athletics, and other athletic improvements. Our district has also conducted an athletic supplement study for consideration by our board of trustees during the upcoming budget cycle.
