State superintendent honors local graduates heading for the military

More than 2,000 patriotic honor cords have been sent to every school district to honor seniors at graduation ceremonies who are enlisting in the military, attending one of the military academics, or participating in ROTC in college. This is part of a new program Spearman launched and the red, white, and blue honor cords will be distributed annually prior to graduation ceremonies.
Central High School’s Dadric Miller and Calrico Miller, along with principal Dr. Judd Starling, were presented their cords personally at a ceremony held by Spearman.
