The modified calendar (click here to see 2017-2018 calendar) will have students beginning classes on Thursday August 17, 2017. The school district will be closed on Monday August 21, 2017 due to the solar eclipse and classes will resume on Tuesday August 22, 2017.
The change in start date will also allow students to begin Winter Break on Monday December 18, 2017 instead of Wednesday December 20, 2017 as originally planned. The remainder of the school calendar will continue as originally planned.
