Superintendent's Art Award winners announced

The winning pieces are framed and will be displayed in the foyer of the district office for 3 to 5 years.  The following students received the Superintendent’s Art Award for the 2013-2014 school year:

Brishana Jackson, daughter of JoAnn Jackson, was the Elementary School Winner.  Her piece was submitted by Kris Houser, art teacher at Cheraw Intermediate School.  She is currently a sixth grade student at Long Middle School.

Ashley Watson, daughter of Jamey and Angie Watson, was the Middle School Winner.  Her piece was submitted by Karla Broome, art teacher at New Heights Middle School.  She is currently a ninth grade student at Central High School.

Amber Moser, a daughter of James and Amy Moser, was the High School Winner.  Her piece was submitted by Charlie Sawyer, art teacher at Central High.  She is currently an eleventh grade student at Central High School.

Christian Wilson, son of Tamyra Taylor, was the overall district winner.  His piece was submitted by Kris Houser, art teacher at Cheraw Intermediate.  He is currently a sixth grade student at Long Middle School.
