Jefferson Elementary earns state distinction

In recognition of this achievement, the South Carolina Department of Education will present Jefferson Elementary with $10,000 to attend the National Title I Association Conference, to be held in Salt Lake City in February.
Chesterfield County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Harrison Goodwin said that the recognition by the state further establishes that Jefferson Elementary School is among the best in the state.
“It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the faculty and staff at the school,” he says. “Mrs. Folsom and her staff are doing a tremendous job of educating their students.”
“I am thrilled and humbled for Jefferson Elementary to receive such a prestigious award,” says Folsom. “The faculty, staff, and students work extremely hard and tirelessly to ensure success. We all are proud to be part of a rewarded school and community.”
