  • Applicants complete an on-line application (CCSD Applitrack)and participate in school and district-based interviews. References, criminal histories, and other pertinent information is verified before a potential employee is presented to the Chesterfield County Board of Trustees for approval.

  • We hold CCSD Job and Recruitment Fairs ub the Fall and Spring.  We also send representatives monthly to job fairs held at Colleges and Universities.

      Current teachers can attend for a discounted rate to earn a Specialist degree in leadership
    • Program with the SCDE for teacher assistants/classified employees to obtain a bachelor’s degree in special education on a scholarship with no cost to the district or employee

SC Grow Your Own Initiative

  • Available for teacher assistants with a bachelor’s degree who would like to become certified teachers at no cost to them. The District would pay a stipend to the mentor teacher and the assistant would need to be working in the area they wish to be certified.
