Applicants complete an on-line application (CCSD Applitrack)and participate in school and district-based interviews. References, criminal histories, and other pertinent information is verified before a potential employee is presented to the Chesterfield County Board of Trustees for approval.

We hold CCSD Job and Recruitment Fairs ub the Fall and Spring. We also send representatives monthly to job fairs held at Colleges and Universities.

SC Grow Your Own Initiative
- Available for teacher assistants with a bachelor’s degree who would like to become certified teachers at no cost to them. The District would pay a stipend to the mentor teacher and the assistant would need to be working in the area they wish to be certified.
