CCSD announces new Director of Maintenance

Miles has over 22 years of experience working in governmental operations and maintenance, public works, and utilities operations. He also brings leadership experience in planning, budgeting and for governmental organizations. He also has extensive experience in meeting the compliance demands of a governmental organization.

Miles replaces Rick Hammond, who retired after 31 years of service to the Chesterfield County School District. “The role of the Director of Maintenance is comprised of many complex responsibilities that directly impact the day-to-day operation of our school district’s facilities,” says Chesterfield County Schools Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin. “I am confident that Mr. Miles is prepared to lead our dedicated staff in the maintenance department now and into the future. I am also confident that his skills will allow us to build on the accomplishments that our maintenance department has realized in the past years.”
