World PT Day | Arts in Education Week

Yesterday was World Physical Therapy Day! Physical therapists are experts in body movement and function, making them invaluable in helping students develop gross motor skills. Whether they've guided you through injury recovery or pain management, their work deserves recognition. If you or your child, a family member, or a loved one has ever benefited from a physical therapist's care, take a moment to express your gratitude. Show some appreciation for the physical therapists in your life!

Yesterday also kicked off National Arts in Education Week. While the joy of art education is a significant benefit for children, its impact extends far beyond that. Skills gained through arts education often enhance other areas of life and academics. The arts encourage you to see the world in fresh, creative ways, expanding your thinking, reasoning, and, of course, artistic abilities—always a valuable asset. Visual and performing arts provide opportunities for social-emotional learning, boost confidence, enrich school experiences, and help students manage constructive criticism and improve overall mental focus.  Walk in an arts classroom some time and watch the magic happen!
