New Heights Middle School hosts the OEC Principals Meeting

The Olde English Consortium (OEC) Principals group is made up of principals from several districts (York 1-4, Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, Kershaw, and Chesterfield). This group meets several times each year for professional development - discussion of relevant topics (legal issues, reducing stress, etc.) and collegial sharing. Dr. Mike Fanning, chair of the OEC, oversees the planning and conducting of these sessions.

Most recently, on October 28, New Heights Middle School hosted the OEC Principals meeting. More than 40 school leaders from the above counties attended. Most of the Chesterfield County principals also attended and benefitted from peer group conversations and suggestions for working within the principalship. Chesterfield County was proud to host the event and show the wonderful hospitality of our community.
