Chesterfield County schools return to normal routine

Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin said that he was pleased with just how quickly all 16 schools in the district returned to a normal routine.
“The hard work that our principals, teachers, district administrators, and support staff put in this summer really put us ahead when our students arrived back on Wednesday,” he says. “Their hard work is allowing us to move our district forward.”
The schools will be open for their first full week beginning on Aug. 25. The first holiday for the school year will be Monday, Sept. 1, Labor Day.
