Andrew was among nine finalists for South Carolina’s most exciting, fan-voted, state-wide student talent contest. Celebrity judges from Hootie & The Blowfish helped select the top finalists from among dozens of entries. HBF bass player Dean Felber and drummer Jim Sonefield joined their former tour manager and current annual golf tournament director Paul Graham, and the band’s business manager Chris Carney to narrow down the pool of talent to nine finalists.
Winning second place and a $250 check was Brogan Gaskill from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill.
Winning third place and a $100 check was Zak Chen a fourth grader from Lucy T. Davis Elementary School in Florence.
