Adams named principal of Chesterfield High School

Adams is currently the principal of Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School.

Chesterfield County Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin said that the district is appreciative of the 35 years of service that Radkin has had in the district.

“We certainly wish him the best in his retirement and future endeavors,” says Goodwin.

Adams began in 1998 as a Social Studies teacher at Ruby Elementary and eventually became a teacher at Chesterfield High. In 2005, he was became the school’s assistant principal.

In 2014, Adams began his tenure as the principal of Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School.

“As the principal of Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School, Mr. Adams has been a school leader that focuses on doing what is best for students, developing his staff and engaging the community,” says Goodwin. “His commitment to the community, along with his coaching, teaching and leadership experiences will serve him well as the new principal of Chesterfield High School.

“I have complete confidence that he will continue to lead Chesterfield High School on the path of success and achievement for years to come.”

Adams earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in History from Lander University in 1998. He also earned his Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2004. In 2013, Adams earned his Educational Specialist Degree from Wingate University.
