A virtual school, also known as an online school or cyber school, is an educational institution that delivers instruction and coursework primarily through digital technology and the internet. It offers students an alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar schools, allowing them to access education from the comfort of their own homes or any location with an internet connection.
VirtualSC is a free state-sponsored online program serving students currently attending public, private and home schools in grades 6-12.

The mission of the Adult Education program in Chesterfield County is to provide adult learners access to educational programs and resources to help prepare them with the necessary skills to contribute and be successful participants in a 21st Century society. The Chesterfield County Adult Education staff is committed to helping students transition into technical or career education, other post-secondary education opportunities, or the workforce.Adult education exists for you, the adults and families of Chesterfield County and surrounding areas.
