District sets date for return to five days face-to-face instruction

Our tentative plan is for middle and high school students to begin 5 day face-to-face instruction on Monday March 15. We are making this announcement now to allow staff, parents, and students time to make any necessary adjustments to prepare for this change.
This date of return is significant because it marks one year since we closed schools last spring to face-to-face instruction. While we are sure that there will be challenges during this transition, we are confident that our teachers, staff, and administrators will be able to address those concerns quickly and efficiently. We are proud of all of the CCSD staff and their dedication to making sure that our students have received instruction over the past year while meeting the challenges presented by Covid.
Please note that students who are virtual will continue with this mode of instruction for the remainder of the school year.
*The tentative schedule for the week of March 15th and beyond would have all students returning five days a week for all schools (primary, elementary, intermediate, middle and high.) Note that March 19th is scheduled as a no school for students day. March 19th is a Flex Day for faculty and staff.
