I am very proud of how our staff operated to ensure that all of the children at school were kept safe. One of our main jobs in education is to keep children safe and healthy so that they can best learn, and Edwards Elementary is to be commended for doing that job incredibly well yesterday.
I would also like to thank our local law enforcement community for their rapid response and support. We are truly blessed to work in a school district that enjoys such great support.
