CCSD distributes summer reading packets

The book packets contained fiction and nonfiction books along with parent/child activities for summer learning.  The Title I department collaborates with Head Start to provide professional development and materials to increase the literacy skills of pre-school age children.  Pictured from left to right are:  from Chesterfield-Marlboro EOC, Mr. Frederick Freeman, Disability and Mental Health Coordinator,  Ms. Gayle Love, Transition and Family Literacy, Audrey Toney, Child Service Manager.  Also pictured from Chesterfield County School District are  Mrs. Shari Stubbs, ELA Coordinator and Dr. Candace Hoffman,  Director of Federal Programs.
