Mrs. Tucker began her career in Chesterfield County School District in 1999 as a Resource Teacher at Edwards Elementary School, where she later became the Literacy Coach in 2013, followed by the Assistant Principalship in 2018. In January 2022, Tucker was named the Principal of Jefferson Elementary School where she served 1 ½ years before being named the Principal of Ruby Elementary School.
Mrs. Tucker earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education, followed by a Masters’ in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion University. Mrs. Tucker also earned licensure in Educational Leadership from Wingate University. In addition to having been a long-time participant in the district’s Aspiring Principals program, Tucker has participated in multiple leadership trainings at the state level.
Mrs. Tucker resides in Chesterfield, SC with her husband, Jason, and four children, Jaysa, Emma, Paisley, and Dalton.
