According to Mrs. Dillon, she has been assured time after time that she has been called to be a teacher and there is no greater calling in life than to educate and influence a child. “I am thankful to have grown up with excellent teachers who have impacted me. As a Central High School graduate, I am blessed to now teach at my alma mater and have the opportunity to work with our students. It is an honor to be asked to represent all of the dedicated and hard-working educators in Chesterfield County,” stated Mrs. Dillon.
Her principal, Mr. Thomas Brewer had this to say, “Mrs. Dillon is an outstanding English teacher who connects with all of her students; her End-of-Course test scores are a testament to this statement. I will equally say that her classroom management skills are second to none. She also devotes much of her time and effort to extracurricular activities that sometimes go unnoticed. Mrs. Dillon is the ultimate professional and very deserving of this recognition.”
“Mrs. Dillon’s professionalism and commitment to children are models for our teachers. She has represented Central High with excellence and will be a great voice for all teachers throughout our district,” according to Chesterfield County School District Superintendent, Dr. Chan Anderson.
