Every five years schools or school systems have to go through the accreditation process. It is a continuous improvement process.
“I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who worked so hard in preparing for the team’s visit, as well as their dedication each day as we continue our focus on ‘Excellence in Academics, Arts and Athletics’,” says Dr. Harrison Goodwin, superintendent of Chesterfield County Schools. “Team members were very complimentary of the district’s hospitality and the sense of pride, caring and community which they observed during their visit.”
The team presented to the district a list of commendations as well as recommendations, based upon their findings.
