The celebration included a rally, a parade in which each class marched and carried a banner, and a 100 purple balloon release, all made complete with music and a cadence provided by members of the Central High School Band. The school wishes to thank the parents for their generous support, Mr. Geoff Mack and Dr. Judd Starling for allowing the band members to participate, and Ms. Shanethia Hamilton, Petersburg’s March of Dimes Chairperson, for her leadership, enthusiasm, and hard work!
