The superintendent prepared an assessment of the district’s continuing efforts toward achieving various goals in the following areas:
Literacy focus on all students with emphasis on early grades;
Continuing our thrust to become a school district that is in the top 25% academically in the state;
Continuing to stabilize our financial standing; and
Continuing to recruit and retain the best personnel for this district.
Dr. Goodwin has displayed a continuing commitment to excellence for this district. He is an excellent educational leader and has demonstrated his dedication and commitment to continued improvement of the overall opportunities for our students and staff.
Dr. Goodwin again received high marks from the School Board and a 2.2% pay increase. His contract currently extends through June 30, 2017.
