Use our online portal below to register for classes, update your personal information, or request official documents.

Student Information

The Student Information Department manages the centralized collection, storage, and reporting of all student and school-level data. This team maintains PowerSchool, our core system for tracking daily attendance, grades, health records, discipline, and state compliance. They also oversee PowerSchool Admin, PowerTeacher, and the Parent Portal. Because this data drives everything from school funding to daily safety, keeping your student’s information accurate and up to date is essential.

Welcome to our student registration portal! Whether you are registering a brand-new Pre-K student, enrolling an older child who is new to the district, or updating information for a returning student, you are in the right place.

To get started, please select and click on the appropriate tab below that matches your student's status.

Important Reminder for Parents: Before you fill out any forms, please click on the Proofs of Residency tab first. Reviewing the residency requirements beforehand ensures you have all the necessary documents ready to upload, which will keep your registration process moving quickly and smoothly!


 

PROOFS OF RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS

When registering, parents/legal guardians must provide (2) DIFFERENT documents from the list below for Proof of Residency.

The documents must be different. In addition, a copy of your driver’s license with the correct address that matches the two proof of residency documents is required.

Acceptable documents include the following:

  • The most recent electric, gas, or water utility bill (dated within the last 60 days) showing the name and address of the parent/legal guardian. (Driver’s License or Photo ID also required). A cellphone bill is not acceptable.
  • The most recent property tax notice showing the name and address of the parent/legal guardian. (Driver’s License or Photo ID also required).
  • The most recent home closing statement showing the address and name of the parent/legal guardian. (Driver’s License or Photo ID also required).
  • The most recent signed and dated lease agreement from a rental company, mobile home park, or similar agent showing the name and address of the parent or legal guardian. (Drivers License or Photo ID also required).

***The Drivers License or Photo ID must match the address in which you live at and the two documents that you provide from the above list.**

New Student - A student who has NEVER enrolled with Chesterfield County School District

  1. Access the registration page.
  2. Click on the Parent Login button.
    A website login screen with a 'Parent' option highlighted.
  3. Enter parent name and email address.
  4. Go to your email and confirm your email address.
  5. Once email is confirmed follow link to complete all required paperwork to register your child.


*Additional documentation may be needed.  If so the school that your child will attend will contact you.

Click on Parent Login to register an Existing Student.
