When you hear the word "REP," you might think of representing your favorite sports team, hometown, or school. This year, we are asking you to represent something even more profound... YOUR PURPOSE

August – REP Pride

Representing Pride means...

  • Wearing your school colors and spirit wear with pride.
  • Keeping your school, classroom, workplace, and community clean and welcoming.
  • Doing your best, even when no one is watching.
  • Speaking positively about your school and district.
  • Celebrating the accomplishments of students and coworkers.
  • Showing up prepared, on time, and ready to contribute.
  • Taking ownership of your work and giving it your best effort.
  • Treating school facilities, equipment, and resources with care.
  • Supporting your school at athletic events, performances, competitions, and activities.
  • Recognizing the people whose work often happens behind the scenes.
  • Sharing the great things happening in your school.
  • Being someone others are proud to call a teammate, classmate, coworker, or community member.

Show it. Own it. Live it.

September – REP Respect

Representing Respect means...

  • Listening when others are speaking.
  • Treating everyone with kindness and dignity.
  • Using words that encourage rather than tear down.
  • Respecting differences in opinions, backgrounds, abilities, and experiences.
  • Taking care of school buildings, property, equipment, and shared spaces.
  • Showing appreciation for teachers, staff, students, families, and community members.
  • Being courteous, even when you disagree.
  • Respecting other people’s time by being prepared and punctual.
  • Following expectations and helping create a safe, positive environment.
  • Including others and making sure everyone feels welcome.
  • Handling disagreements calmly and appropriately.
  • Giving others credit for their ideas, efforts, and accomplishments.
  • Remembering that how you treat people reflects not only on you, but also on your school and district.

October – REP Responsibility

 

Representing Responsibility means...

  • Being prepared and ready to learn or work.
  • Arriving on time and meeting deadlines.
  • Following through on commitments and promises.
  • Taking ownership of your choices and actions.
  • Admitting mistakes and working to make things right.
  • Completing your work with care and giving your best effort.
  • Taking care of school property, equipment, and shared spaces.
  • Following rules and procedures, even when no one is watching.
  • Asking for help when you need it.
  • Using technology and social media appropriately.
  • Being someone others can count on.
  • Helping solve problems instead of simply pointing them out.
  • Doing your part to make your school and community better.
  • Understanding that your choices can affect others.

November – REP Gratitude

Representing Gratitude means...

  • Saying “thank you” and meaning it.
  • Recognizing the people who help you succeed.
  • Showing appreciation for teachers, staff, students, families, and community partners.
  • Celebrating the efforts of others, not just the results.
  • Taking time to notice the good things happening around you.
  • Thanking someone whose work often happens behind the scenes.
  • Showing appreciation through your actions, not just your words.
  • Recognizing opportunities and making the most of them.
  • Encouraging others and letting them know they are valued.
  • Being thankful for your school, coworkers, classmates, and community.
  • Giving back by helping someone else.
  • Choosing to focus on what you appreciate.
  • Making gratitude a habit, not just something reserved for special occasions.

December – REP Kindness

Representing Kindness means...

  • Greeting others with a smile.
  • Offering help without being asked.
  • Including someone who may feel left out.
  • Using words that encourage and uplift.
  • Celebrating someone else’s success.
  • Being patient when someone is struggling.
  • Checking on someone who may be having a difficult day.
  • Giving a genuine compliment.
  • Showing compassion when someone makes a mistake.
  • Standing up for others in a positive and respectful way.
  • Helping a classmate, coworker, or community member.
  • Choosing kindness, even when it isn’t the easiest choice.
  • Remembering that small acts can make a big difference.
  • Treating everyone as though they matter, because they do.

January – REP Growth

Representing Growth means...

  • Setting goals and working toward them.
  • Being willing to learn something new.
  • Seeing mistakes as opportunities to improve.
  • Asking questions when you don’t understand.
  • Accepting constructive feedback with an open mind.
  • Stepping outside your comfort zone.
  • Celebrating progress, not just perfection.
  • Trying again when something doesn’t work the first time.
  • Learning from challenges and setbacks.
  • Recognizing how far you’ve come.
  • Encouraging others as they learn and improve.
