CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

Mr. Thomas C. Brewer, III has been named the new principal of Central High School.  Brewer is a native of Pageland and a graduate of Central High School.

Federal Programs Planning Meeting

The Chesterfield County School District Federal Program’s Office will hold a planning meeting to discuss and gain input on federally funded plans for the 2022-2023 School Year. Funding sources to be discussed will include Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV and Title V. The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 15, at 3:00 p.m. in the School District Office Board Room at 401 West Boulevard in Chesterfield, SC. Board names Anderson new interim superintendent

At the May 31st school board meeting, the Chesterfield County School District Board of Trustees voted to accept the resignation of Dr. H. Goodwin. Recently, Dr. Goodwin accepted the opportunity to serve as superintendent in neighboring Kershaw County. As a result, the Chesterfield County School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Chan Anderson as the Interim Superintendent of Chesterfield County School District, effective immediately.

District addresses rumors regarding McBee High

There have been some rumors related to possible threats at McBee High school on Friday. The school administration and the school resource officer have been working together and have found no credibility to the threats.

2022-23 Virtual CCS Registration available until 7/22/22

A second opportunity to register for 2022-2023 Virtual CCS is now available through Friday, July 22nd.

Parents/Guardians that registered during the first registration opportunity, from May 16th – May 27th, do not need to register again.
